Newton Mattress-One thing I knew I wanted when we found out we were pregnant and am SO GLAD we got!! Now that the babies are sleeping in their cribs and are both tummy sleepers this mattress really does give me the piece of mind that even if they are not sleeping on the complete side of their head that they can breathe. Our power combo is this mattress and the Owlet Dream Sock!
note: if we notice they are not sleeping fully on the side of their head, we do go in and turn their head for them so that they are still sleeping savely.
Ekouaer Ruffle Pajamas- My mom put me on this brand when I was pregnant and needing basic maternity things and I am so thankful she did! They have both maternity and non maternity items. Everything that I have received has fit true to size, comfy, and is super affordable. These specific PJs are so soft!! They are perfect for postpartum as they have functioning buttons for nursing and pumping and the elastic is not tight fitting at all.
Grownsy Baby Bottle Warmer 8-in-1 Dual Bottle- This bottle warmer is perfect for any twin mom or someone who has two kids who like warm milk. We tried to use a single bottle warmer and it was a rookie mistake! One of the first products I recommend to any new twin mom is a dual bottle warmer and we have had great success with this specific brand of one.
Itzy Ritzy Easy Hold Teether- I do not know what is so special about this teether, but my daughter LOVES it!! We have all different kinds of teethers and she constantly grabs for this one. When she is super fussy this and the Bluey Theme Song we have a good chance of calming her down.
Tummy Time Water Mat- We have had this for a while and it was a hit and miss at the beginning, but now this thing is reached for! We have it set up at the end of our play mat and both babies are reaching and working on pushing off to get to it. It has become a great hit and makes for a fun addition to our play time with different feelings and textures.
Twin Z Pillow-This is one of those pricey items that I went back and forth on if we needed or not and I am so thankful that it was gifted to us! When I am home alone it has made feedings a lot easier as it is more plush and both babies are right there in the same spot. In full transparency, it took me far too long to figure out how to tighten it to make the holes smaller (for when the twins were itty bitty), but once I did it has grown with us. Now we do their bottle feeds with it and since we are rolling all the time, we work on kneeling tummy time since it is so plush. IF, the big IF, it is in your budget, I do highly recommend it!
Burts Bees 100% Organic Cotton Wearable Blanket-I searched high and low for a decent sleep sack for us to transition out of our Halo Swaddles and am so glad I stumbled upon this one. Don’t get me wrong, we loved our Halo Swaddles and they do transition well, but the babies were moving too much to mess with the velcro and was making them mad. I wanted something that zipped and we were done with. These come in different TOG’s and now are our favorites. They wash really well and are super soft. The twins won’t sleep a full night in any other sleep sack so these are a must for us!
NutriBullet Baby Steam and Blend Food Processor-When we got the okay to start introducing some solids and purees we made the decision to make all of our own food for the babies that we could. We have a big food processor and had purchased a very cheap little steamer basket to put in a pot, but with how little portions we needed to make (even to freeze portions for later use) it was A LOT of dishes. My husband got me this for Christmas and it has been amazing!! Super easy to work, easy to clean, and is compact. I wanted to give time to really make sure it was something we would recommend and boy howdie is it! If you want to make any of your own baby foods and purees, this is a time saving must.
Biroyal Baby First Food Tracker- With us starting solids and purees this has been super helpful to keep track of what we have tried and how many times we have tried it!
Baby Einstein Glow & Discover Light Bar- Tummy time staple over here! Both babies love lights and songs and this has both. As they grow they are learning that the push the buttons and it makes a noise, lights up, and talks to them. They have mastered spinning the middle rattle, which makes the toy sing a song, and we are constantly making sure it is singing. Love that it helps teach animals and colors as well and will be one to continue to transition as they grow.
